Back to Education  Initiative (BTEI)

The BTEI provides part-time education programmes in order to give people an opportunity to combine learning with family, work and other responsibilities. For more information click here.

Literacy Scheme

This basic education scheme provides opportunities to develop a range of skills in areas such as reading, writing, spelling, numeracy, computer literacy and personal development. For more information click here.  

Mobile IT Unit

The mobile IT unit is intended to meet the educational needs of adults living in rural areas who are unable to access training in their local areas or the urban centres of Mullingar and Athlone. The IT unit is a mobile training facility for one-to-one and small group tuition. For more information click here.

Youthreach

Youthreach is an education centre for early school leavers aged between 15 and 20. Learners divide into two main groups and work towards assessment in a wide variety of FETAC modules. Click here for more information.
