Castlepollard Community College re-opens for First Year Students on Monday 31st August 2009 and on Tuesday 1st September 2009 for all other years.

Enrolment & Open Night

Enrolment & Open Night for first year students - 2010/2011 school year will take place in mid January, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  New students should be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian and have a copy of their birth certificate with them.  Inviting all 5th & 6th class primary students and parents to view our ultra modern facilities.

All subjects available to Honours Level.  Small classes, individual attendtion guaranteed.

Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, L.C.V.P., F.E.T.A.C. – Business Studies Secretarial, E.C.D.L., Adult Education.

E.C.D.L. - This school is a registered E.C.D.L. centre and all day students and P.L.C. students have the opportunity to take these examinations. 

Junior Cycle:
All students study the following subjects in First year and up to Junior Certificate Level

Subjects: Irish, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, French, Science, Home Economics, Business Studies, Civic, Social and Political Education (C.S.P.E.), Computer Studies, Religious Education, Guidance, Social Personal and Health Education (S.P.H.E.), Metalwork, Technical Graphics, Materials Technology Wood, Art and Physical Education.

Senior Cycle:

Senior cycle students study the following:

Subjects: Irish, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, French, Biology, Home Economics (Social and Scientific), Business, Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (L.C.V.P.), Computer Studies, Religious Education, Guidance, Social Personal and Health Education (S.P.H.E.), Engineering, Design and Communication Graphics, Construction Studies, Art and Physical Education.

All subjects available to Honours Level.

Post Leaving Certificate Course

Business Studies Secretarial

Enrolment

Enrolment for the above courses will take place on in early October 2009. 

Course Fees

Course fees are paid on enrolment night (€100 for 6 weeks & €120 for 8 weeks).  Should a course not run all fees will be refunded.  Minimum number of 10 required to form classes.
