Education needs continuous evaluation and revision because of changing circumstances which presently include:- the demand for third level education; our greater involvement in Europe; the influence of information and communications technology and technological developments.
We look forward to those challenges and are endeavouring to keep abreast of our changing educational scene; we have the following facilities in our school: - Seven fully equipped specialist rooms. - A range of subjects to meet both academic - and practical requirements.

Education in this country is currently experiencing great change. We in Mullingar Community College are constantly reviewing our approach to the teaching of students to meet these challenges.
We are justifiably proud of our students and the results they have achieved in the past, which has enabled them to follow further courses of study in universities, Institutes of Technology and other colleges of further education at home and abroad.
We have no doubt our students of the future will experience the same success. Mullingar Community College has the expertise, dedication and facilities to guide your children to the success they desire.
We operate a co-eductional system, the most natural progression from Primary to Second level education. Boys and girls share opportunities to develop together, personally, academically and socially, in a school ethos that encourages respect for self and others.
