Senior Traveller Training Centres
This full time training programme is provided to adult travellers. Its is a multi-faceted programme and includes personal development in addition to basic education and specific skills. The centres offer programmes to suit the needs of the individual learning plan of the trainees. Centres promote cultural and ethnic awareness externally as well as internally. Each learner receives an allowance that is dependent on attendance. A childcare allowance is provided, without which many particpants could not attaend. The Senior Traveller Training Centres are funded by the Irish Government and part funded by the EU.

Short courses on Health, Social Welfare, Civil Rights and Physical Education are also provided.
FETAC accreditation is available.

One to three years.
