We offer a wide range of training courses, which are designed for unemployed persons who would like to upgrade their skills and return to the workforce or progress to third level. The course is flexible and structured to meet the needs of the students allowing them to work at their own pace. Listed below please find the suggested programmes for VTOS students however students can combine programmes to meet personal objectives.

General Studies
This programme is a good choice for students joining VTOS who have been out of training for quite some time offering a wide range of subjects.

Certification
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
ECDL Starter Certificate, ECDL Update and Advanced ECDL
- Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC)
FETAC Level 5 Awards are offered to students in Information Processing, Business Studies, Business Studies (secretarial) and Art & Design.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
Training and testing in core and expert modules in Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. This will lead to a MOS Master qualification.

ICT Trainers Certificate & Diploma
- Equal Skills Introductory Certificate
