Content/Type:
Youthreach is an education and training centre for early school leavers aged between 15 and 20. Learners didvide into two main groups and work towards assessment in a wide variety of FETAC modules at either or both Level 3 and Level 5. Subjects are adapted to suit the learners in the centre and change regularly to suit the needs of the current group.

- Arts & Craft: Art, Craft, Design, Craft, Textiles, Embroidery
- Beauty Care: Personal Care & Presentation
- Business: Consumer Awareness, Customer Service, Information & Administration, Office Procedures
- Childcare: Caring for Children, Child Development & Play, Caring for Children (0-6), Early Childhood Education
- Computers: Computer Literacy, Computer Applications, Desktop Publishing, Database Methods, Text Production, Word Processing
- General: Communications, Crime Awareness, First Aid, Maths, Paersonal & Interpersonal Skills, Preparation for Work, Work Experience
Mode of attendance:
Full-time
Mon-Thurs 9am - 4pm and Fri 9am - 12.30pm
Part-time option also available
Duration:
1, 2 or 3-year course
Possible Progression:
Direct to employment, further education e.g. FÁS apprenticeship course or return to mainstream education.
Fee:
Free of charge; training allowance paid.
