New School

Castlepollard Community College was officially opened on 10th February, 2005 by Mininster for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Noel Dempsey, T.D. and Chairman of County Westmeath Vocational Education Committee Councillor Kieran Molloy. The new college campus includes a full size G.A.A. pitch, sports hall, badminton court, 2 tennis courts and 2 full size basketball courts.

This development marks the beginning of a new era of post primary education in Castlepollard and ensures that the proud tradition built up since 1937 will continue to serve the educational needs of the local community for many decades to come.
