Beat the rush!!!

Hoping to enter college or university for full-time study in autumn 2010?

It doesn't matter if you haven't decided what to study yet, or if you haven't yet got a firm offer of a place in college. Making a head start now could save you lots of time and worry later.

So if you want to beat the rush, here's what to do:

  1. Log on to www.studentfinance.ie and explore their 'Maintenance Grants' page. This allows you to find out if you're eligible and to download and print off an application form.  You can get hold of the application form by clicking here. If you don't have internet access, then simply call us on 044 9394005/15 and we'll send you out an application pack.
  2. Move your mouse pointer over the 'Third Level Grants' heading above, and then click 'Supporting documentation;'
  3. Once you've received the application pack or downloaded the form, fill in the form, include your supporting documentation and return it all to your local VEC or County Council as soon as possible;
  4. Sit back and rest assured that you've given yourself the best possible chance of getting an early decision on your application.

If you get stuck on any of these steps, please call Mary on 044 9394015 or David on 044 9394005.
